Damien Smith came to New York City from Ireland in the early 2000s. He became a Partner in a prominent general contracting firm in just a few years. During the tumult of the 2008 financial crisis, Damien moved on from the firm to start his own company, First Standard Construction. After completing substantial residential and commercial projects, including renovations and new developments, Damien founded Prosper Property Group to take on development projects and build out a team of highly competent professionals. Today, Prosper Property Group has a team with over 60+ years of experience, over 480,000 square feet in development, and projects spanning Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

Damien takes pride in exceeding industry standards and producing exceptional results. A dedicated family man, he relishes his active personal life with his wife and four children.

Eddie Bender, an experienced real estate professional, has made significant strides in acquisitions and finance over his eight-year career, managing $180m in assets and securing $150m in loans. He's facilitated the creation of mixed-use buildings with over 339,000 square feet of space through strategic land-use transformations. Outside of work, Eddie mentors a business student annually and advises his fraternity on real estate matters. Residing on the Upper East Side, Eddie enjoys traveling and is an enthusiastic golfer.
